Our Story
Ortho Shop was created with the idea to bring quality world-class orthodontic supplies to customers at unbeatable prices all in one place. We only stock FDA-approved products that our panel of orthodontists have tested for quality and value-added benefits. We aim to keep our overheads low, and in turn, pass these savings to you. We are here to save you time and money!
We are a family business that was founded by co-owners, Silvana and Marius Jooste. We have a combined 35 years of experience in the orthodontic supplies industry, and we aim to use our knowledge to make your shopping experience with Ortho Shop a great one! Having both grown up in the dental industry, we are passionate about being in the Smile business! Silvana is the daughter of an orthodontist, Dr Mauro V. Lucchesi, and Marius is the son of a university dental photographer. Silvana has a degree in Marketing and Management and enjoys the marketing and sales side of their business and finding new and innovative suppliers. Marius enjoys providing a high level of efficient customer service for our customers through his years of experience in the industry and prides himself on fast order turnaround times. They have 2 beautiful daughters and love spending time as a family outdoors. They love to travel and experience new places and cultures and have lived in the United Kingdom, South Africa, and Italy before settling in the beautiful coastal city of Virginia Beach, Virginia.
